The couples met each other at Twinsburg, an annual Twins Days Festival in Ohio.

  • "It’s really been a fairy tale come true. Marrying twins is something that’s very important to us," Brittany Deane told People magazine. "Even when we were little girls, I can remember being in kindergarten, knowing that that is what we saw for ourselves."

The 31-year-old Deane twins made headlines earlier this month by telling their story on “Good Morning America,” according to ABC News.

Brittany Deane said she and her sister spotted their future husbands, the Salyers, at the festival.

  • "We were sitting on the bleachers and I saw just these two amazingly handsome young men that looked to be about our age and they were walking across the gym floor below,” she said.

It wasn’t until later in the night that the couples met at the festival. From there, the pairs started chatting. Eventually, the twin brothers proposed to the two sisters at the same time.

  • "We have done so much in life together. We’ve gone through ... having twin loves of our lives and to accept their marriage proposal at the same time made it that much more special," Brittany Deane said.
