MAGNA — Two men died in a collision in Magna on Wednesday, the Utah Highway Patrol reported.

The crash involving two cars on state Route 201 occurred shortly before 5 p.m.

The two men who were killed — the driver and passenger of a white Subaru — were driving north on 9120 West and moved to turn onto westbound S.R. 201, according to UHP. The car was t-boned by an eastbound Nissan Pathfinder.

The two men in the Subaru, ages 21 and 26, were pronounced dead at the scene, UHP said. The only occupant of the Nissan, a 42-year-old man, was in serious condition at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray.

UHP said it is unknown if impairment was a factor in the crash.
