SALT LAKE CITY — Star-Lord from “Avengers: Endgame” just joined the “Fortnite” universe.
A new character skin for Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) is now available in the “Fortnite” store for 1,500 V-bucks (about $15), according to Forbes.
“Fortnite” also released a Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) skin as a part of the crossover event between “Fortnite” and “Avengers: Endgame,” according to Polygon.
- “That's it for Marvel skins, at least this time around. There's a fairly limited selection of characters that both fit ‘Fortnite’s’ general aesthetic sense and who can reasonably be seen hopping around the island shooting people with assault rifles: it's easy to imagine what characters like Captain America or Iron Man might look like in the game, but it's harder to imagine them behaving like you do in a normal ‘Fortnite’ match,” according to Forbes.
The game “Fortnite” actually appears in “Avengers: Endgame” in a scene with Thor (Chris Hemsworth), the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper).
“Fortnite” also added a limited-time mode on the week “Endgame” was released, which I wrote about for the Deseret News. The limited-time mode allows gamers to compete as superheroes or villains from the “Avengers” films.
