SALT LAKE CITY — McDonald’s is headed to late night.

McDonald’s announced that it will launch a new late-night menu on Tuesday that will feature fewer items than you’ll find during the day.

The new menu will include the Big Mac, Chicken McNuggets, fries and other side dishes, according to a McDonald’s statement.

  • "We always want our customers’ experiences to be simple, smooth and delicious – any time of day," the company said in a statement. "That means, day and night, we’re always looking for ways to serve them even better."

McDonald’s said the decision to slim its late-night menu highlights "what’s served after midnight so customers can get the most popular favorites as fast as possible."

Yes, but: According to USA Today, the late-night menu won’t have too many fish or chicken items. For example, chicken sandwiches and the Filet-O-Fish won’t be available during the late-night hours.

Of course, those items will still be available during the day.

Here’s a full glance at what will be available after midnight:

  • Big Mac and Quarter Pounder burgers.
  • Chicken McNuggets.
  • All Day Breakfast.
  • Fries and all other sides.
  • Happy Meals.
  • Sweets & Treats.
  • McCafé and beverages.

McDonald’s is always making changes to its menu. According to Fortune, McDonald’s announced earlier this month that it plans to add a new Dutch Stroopwafel to U.S. menus. However, it won’t add the Malaysian BBQ Fries.
