SALT LAKE CITY — Walmart store managers make about $175,000 on average, according to a new Walmart report.

Walmart released its Inaugural Environmental, Social & Governance report on Wednesday, which outlines the earnings and wages for its employees and managers.

The report said all of its American workers earn more than the federal minimum wage of $7.25. In fact, the average Walmart employee in the U.S. earns $14.26 per hour, according to the Walmart report. That’s higher than the $13.79 average hourly wage from 2018, according to Business Insider.

The Walmart report said the average store manager makes $175,000.

The Walmart report said wages have grown by more than 50 percent in the last three years. The minimum starting wage in the company is $11, per the report.

  • "We believe it’s important to run our business in a way that generates lasting value for our customers, our associates, our shareholders and for society more broadly," Walmart Inc. President and CEO Doug McMillon wrote in a letter included with the report, according to USA Today.
