SALT LAKE CITY — The final lineup of Democratic primary candidates for the next Democratic debate appears to be set in stone.
The final lineup includes:
- Former Vice President Joe Biden
- Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders
- California Sen. Kamala Harris
- Massachusetts Sen.Elizabeth Warren
- South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg
- Former Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke
- New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker
- Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar
- Businessman Andrew Yang
- Former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julián Castro
Two polls released Wednesday morning just hours before the upcoming deadline did not give any other Democratic primary candidates the percentages needed to qualify for the next round, essentially locking in the current lineup of debaters, according to NBC News.
The lineup includes 10 candidates, which means that the debates will likely be limited to one night instead of spread over two nights if 11 candidates had qualified, per NBC News.
Tom Steyer, who needed one more poll at 2 percent to jump into the debates, finished with 1 percent in two new polls — one from USA Today/Suffolk University and Quinnipiac University — released on Wednesday.
The following candidates also didn’t meet the criteria:
- Former Maryland Rep. John Delaney
- Former Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper
- Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan
- Montana Gov. Steve Bullock
- Author Marianne Williamson
- New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand
- Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard
- Colorado Sen. Michael Bennet
- New York Mayor Bill de Blasio
