PROVO — They came. They saw. They dominated.

For the ninth straight time, the Utah Utes beat the BYU Cougars, this time a 30-12 victory at LaVell Edwards Stadium in the season opener Thursday night.

After holding a 9-6 lead heading into halftime, Utah broke the game open in the second half by controlling the ball and turning Cougar miscues into points.
