SALT LAKE CITY — FedEx expects is looking to hire more than 650 people in Salt Lake City and 55,000 across the country for the holidays this year.

The part-time seasonal openings include package handlers and other support positions, many of which may become full-time opportunities as demand for FedEx services grows.

According to the company, applicants must be at least 18 years old and have been residing in the United States for five years. Applicants must provide two forms of valid identification, and a valid driver’s license is required for a material handler position. Some positions require applicants to be able to lift 50 pounds. There are no minimum education requirements.
