Could Taysom Hill start for New Orleans Saints in place of injured quarterback Drew Brees?

Will former BYU Cougars quarterback Taysom Hill get a chance to be the New Orleans Saints’ starting quarterback with Drew Brees expected to miss significant time after he got hurt last Sunday?

According to a story by Rod Walker of the Times-Picayune in New Orleans, Saints head coach Sean Payton didn’t commit on Wednesday to naming a starter for Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Teddy Bridgewater entered last Sunday’s game in the first quarter and wound up playing the rest of the way in a 27-9 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.

“We’ll approach this game with two quarterbacks, and we’ll see where we’re at with it,” Walker quotes Payton as saying. “But we’ll have the right plan relative to what those guys are doing.”
