Why it matters: The debut is a long-time coming. Questions erupted about the device when it originally launched earlier this year. Samsung announced in April it would delay the Galaxy Fold’s launch to improve the device, which had multiple issues upon its debut, as reported by the Deseret News. Multiple reviews (like those from The Verge and BBC News) reported the Fold would snap in half.
