“Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” doesn’t come out for a few more months. But Pinewood Presentation released new photos that show off devices for Rey, Kylo Ren and more.
The story: The new photos, which come from “Star Wars” social media manager and writer Michelle Buchman, show off Rey’s repaired lightsaber, which, before she owned it, was owned by Luke Skywalker and Anakin Skywalker before him. The lightsaber broke during “The Last Jedi” when Rey and Kylo Ren were battling for its possession using the Force.
- “Still, the weapon made an appearance in the trailers and this is another sign pointing toward a return to using the lightsaber in the upcoming film,” according to ComicBook.com.
Other details: Buchman’s photos show off Kylo Ren’s repaired lightsaber and helmet, too, as well as a medal from the Yavin presentation at the end of “Star Wars: A New Hope.”

Questions: There are several questions about which lightsaber Rey will use in the forthcoming “Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker.” As you might remember, she held a double-bladed lightsaber in the recent “Rise of Skywalker” special look, which aired during the D23 Expo, as reported by the Deseret News.
Another one: Just this week, a “Star Wars Insider” magazine cover surfaced online showing Kylo Ren and his repaired helmet, according to the Deseret News. The helmet was originally shattered during “Last Jedi.”
