Kevin Hart suffered a serious back injury after a car crash early Sunday. Audio from the 911 call following the crash was released Wednesday and details the moments after Hart was injured.
During the phone call obtained by TMZ and “Today,” an unknown female calling from Hart’s residence tells the dispatcher that Hart is “not coherent at all.” She then adds she’s not sure what happened during the accident, but she knows it happened “outside of (their) gated community.”
In a separate 911 call that occurred directly after the accident, an unknown witness describes a man believed to be Hart and tells the dispatcher he “looks like he’s hurting.”
The California Highway Patrol collision report details that Hart was a passenger in a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda when it “went off Mulholland Highway and rolled down an embankment.” The report lists Rebecca Broxterman as a second passenger in the vehicle, and Jared Black as the driver.
According to the report, both Hart and Black suffered “major back injuries.”
Hart’s wife explained that Hart is awake and in good spirits, but not lively and joking around just yet.
According to Fox News, the back surgery on Hart was successful on Sunday evening. Officials expects Hart to stay in the hospital until he is fully recovered.
