RICHFIELD — Winners of the 48th annual Sterling Scholar awards ceremony for the Central Region were announced on March 3, at Richfield High School. There were 122 students involved from 14 high schools, with 47 judges from among Utah universities, business leaders and high school officials. The students competed in 15 categories: Agriculture Science, Business and Marketing Education, Computer and Information Technology, Dance, English & Literature, Family and Consumer Sciences, General Scholarship, Mathematics, Music, Science, Social Science, Speech and Drama, Trade and Technical Education, Visual Arts and World Languages.
