After two games away with a rib injury, Jaren Hall is returning to the field.
Hall will start at quarterback for No. 10 BYU against Boise State this afternoon, coach Kalani Sitake confirmed during his pregame radio interview.
Greg Wrubell confirms after talking to Kalani pregame that Jaren Hall will be BYU's starting QB today; James Empey returns on the O line, but Harris LaChance remains out with lower leg injury; Hybrid TE/FB Masen Wake also remains out.— Jay Drew (@drewjay) October 9, 2021
The game is set to kick at 1:30 p.m. MDT at LaVell Edwards Stadium.
Baylor Romney has started in Hall’s place the past two games, though Romney left last week’s game against Utah State at halftime and was replaced by Jacob Conover.
Hall was injured late in the Cougars’ 27-17 victory over Arizona State on Sept. 18.
