“Back to the Future” stars Christopher Lloyd and Lea Thompson will reunite for another time-traveling adventure story. But this time, it will be in a Hallmark Christmas movie.

“Next Stop, Christmas” will focus on Angie (Lyndsy Fonseca), who travels on a Christmas train that sends her 10 years into the past.

  • With the help of a conductor (Christopher Lloyd), Angie will get a chance to revisit her 2011 Christmas and fix her past.

Thompson, who will appear as a character named Evelyn, said the movie is “about a girl who goes back in time to get her parents back together; that sounds familiar,” Thompson told Monsters & Critics

  • “Someone at casting had a very shrewd idea. I was super happy to do it, and I’m always excited to see Chris. It’s always nice to see him,” Thompson told Monsters & Critics. “Before COVID-19, we saw each other at a lot of comic conventions and have always enjoyed our close friendship.”
