Wide receiver Neil Pau’u is moving on from BYU.

On Dec. 14, it was announced that Pau’u would play in the Hula Bowl next month, a showcase for professional hopefuls, and on Wednesday night, he formally announced that he will forego his final year of eligibility and enter his name in the 2022 NFL draft.

In four seasons at BYU, the 6-foot-4, 215-pound Pau’u played in 46 games and totaled 123 receptions for 1,484 yards with 13 touchdowns.

In 2021, he set career highs with 46 receptions and six touchdowns.

He sat out the 2019 season after getting arrested for a DUI.

Pau’u joins center James Empey as BYU players who have declared for the draft.
