As COVID-19 wreaks havoc on the sports world once again, the schedules of both the BYU women’s and men’s basketball programs have now been directly affected.

The women’s game against the San Diego Toreros scheduled for Thursday has been postponed because of COVID-19 issues at San Diego, as has the men’s game against the Portland Pilots scheduled for Saturday because of problems at Portland.

The contests were slated to be both teams’ West Coast Conference openers for this season.

The women are now scheduled to next face Portland at home on Saturday, while the men are scheduled to open WCC play Jan. 6 at home against Pacific after facing Westminster in an exhibition on Wednesday night.
