Harding averaged 5.4 points and 2.6 rebounds for the Cougars in 2020-21.
Last season, Harding averaged 5.4 points and 2.6 rebounds in 26 games for the Cougars. He started the first 12 games of the season.
A move to nearby UVU makes sense for Harding, who is married to BYU women’s basketball star Paisley Harding. She is expected to return to the Cougars next season.
Connor Harding has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
BYU has seen three other players enter the transfer portal since the end of the season — Kolby Lee, Jesse Wade and Wyatt Lowell.
