A brand new clip for the upcoming Marvel Studios project “Loki” aired Sunday night during the 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards.
The clip shows Loki arriving at the TVA office and speaking with Owen Wilson’s character. The “TVA” is a reference to the “Time Variance Authority,” which is an organization that monitors all timelines and realities throughout the Marvel universe, according to Collider.
As we know — or maybe you don’t and I’m about to spoil things for you — this version of the Loki character comes from 2012. See, in “Avengers: Endgame,” the Avengers traveled back to 2012 to retrieve an infinity stone. When they did, Loki stole the Tesseract and used it to sneak away. So this Loki is technically from an alternate timeline. So, naturally, the TVA will have some questions.

When is ‘Loki’ coming out?
So here’s the thing — “Loki” will have a different release date than most shows as it will drop on Wednesdays and not Fridays. Disney+ has traditionally released new shows on Fridays. But for this show, “Wednesdays are the new Fridays.”
And get ready, the show is coming fast. The first episode drops on Wednesday, June 9.
