It’s full of technical jargon. But Hoskinson essentially explains that Dogecoin needs to improve its transaction speed and make it more like Bitcoin.
- He said if Dogecoin could be given a “Bitcoin-like system” then it would produce about 10,000 transactions per second, which would only increase the amount of Dogecoin out there.
Hoskinson released the video specifically for Elon Musk, it seems. He said he hoped the video would help the Dogecoin community and Elon Musk.
- “I wish him the best of luck in rebuilding that cryptocurrency with his super-elite engineers, which I have no doubt he has as he’s one of the world’s richest men,” he said, according to Benzinga.
- He added, “Thank you truly for entering our space and thank you truly for telling everybody that you’re going to take custody of that cryptocurrency and make sure it gets where it needs to go, and I look forward to the great innovations you guys come out within a year or two.”
Musk has been hinting at working with Dogecoin in recent days, as I wrote for the Deseret News. Musk released a poll that asked if Tesla should accept Dogecoin as a form of payment just as he announced Tesla would no longer accept Bitcoin for payments. He later said he was working with Dogecoin to improve the cryptocurrency.
- “Working with Doge devs to improve system transaction efficiency. Potentially promising,” he tweeted.
