Billie Eilish, the 19-year-old pop star who exploded on the music scene and swept the 2020 Grammy Awards, is coming to Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City.

Next year, Eilish — who at 18 became the youngest artist to win album of the year — is heading out on tour in support of her second album, “Happier Than Ever.” The album, which comes out July 30, follows the massive success of Eilish’s debut record “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?” that hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in the U.S. and 17 other countries following its release in 2019, according to a news release sent to the Deseret News.

“Happier than Ever,” which features 16 songs, came together during the pandemic shutdown that put a halt on live music and touring. The hiatus marked Eilish’s first extended period of time off in four years, according to New Musical Express magazine.

“I don’t think I would’ve made the same album, or even the album at all, if it weren’t for COVID,” Eilish told late night TV host Stephen Colbert earlier this year. “That doesn’t mean it’s about COVID at all, it’s just that, when things are different in your life, you’re different. That’s just how it is.”

Eilish, who won two more Grammys at the 2021 awards ceremony, will headline Vivint Arena on March 21, 2022. Tickets go on sale via Ticketmaster on May 28 at noon M.T., although fans can register for a presale that starts May 26 at noon M.T.

The world tour kicks off Feb. 3, 2022, and extends throughout North America, the U.K., Ireland, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Belgium and Switzerland.

Previously, Eilish performed at the Great Saltair in Magna, Utah, in June 2019, and a sold-out show at Salt Lake City’s The Complex in 2018.
