The Korean pop band BTS has linked up with McDonald’s to create a new celebrity meal.

The meal — which went on sale Wednesday — includes 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, a medium fry, a medium Coke and sweet chili and Cajun sauce (which are two new flavors from McDonald’s in South Korea).

BTS appeared in a commercial for the new meal, singing their new single “Butter.”

Back in September 2020, McDonald’s and Travis Scott teamed up for a celebrity meal — the first since Michael Jordan had a celebrity meal in 1992, according to the Deseret News. The meal included a Quarter Pounder with cheese, bacon and lettuce, a medium fries with BBQ sauce and a Sprite, which is reportedly Scott’s favorite meal.

  • The meal became hard to find when it was released as people began to buy it online due to its rarity.
  • “We’ve created a program that’s so compelling to our customers that it’s stretching our world-class supply chain; and if demand continues at these levels, more restaurants will break supply,” McDonald’s said in a memo to employees at the time, according to USA Today.
  • One month later in October 2020, McDonald’s introduced a meal from J. Balvin, which included a Big Mac, medium fries, ketchup and an Oreo McFlurry.
