Chris Hemsworth made another move in the Hollywood battle of the Chrises by tweeting a picture of Chris Pratt to celebrate Chris Evans’ birthday.

  • Hemsworth, in a troll move, tweeted a picture of him and Pratt together to wish Evans a happy birthday.
  • “Happy 40th birthday Chris Evans, you’ll always be number 1 in my book,” he said in a post.

Battle of the Chrises

This is an easy call back to the viral moment last year when TV writer Amy Berg shared a photo of Evans, Hemsworth, Pratt and Chris Pine, asking her followers to pick one Chris to go.

Chris Pratt, canceled

Berg’s tweet set off a rage storm against Chris Pratt. “When people began to select Pratt, they mentioned his membership in a conservative church and speculated that he supports President Donald Trump,” the Deseret News reported.

In fact, social media decided to call Pratt the “worst Chris” soon after. People noticed at the time that Pratt had not attended a fundraiser for then-Democratic candidate Joe Biden. But Robert Downey Jr. didn’t participate either, and he did not receive any social media backlash.

Chris Pratt wins?

Pratt said in December 2020 that he had won the battle of the Chrises. He said he won his fantasy football league — the AGBO Superhero League, which is a charity fantasy league that benefits the Special Olympics — against Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth, as I wrote for the Deseret News.

  • “I snuck two very, very close victories off, the most recent off Chris Evans,” Pratt said, according to CNN. “He had beat Chris Hemsworth last week, so I guess we can finally put an end to that debate of, Who’s the better Chris?”
