Elijah Bryant has long been open to sharing his story with the world — the former BYU star guard has his own YouTube channel where he takes fans behind the scenes of his pro basketball career.
Now, that behind-the-scenes look extends to the NBA Finals. Ahead of Tuesday’s Game 6, the Milwaukee Bucks — who are facing the Phoenix Suns in the championship series — shared a video that shows just a hint of what Bryant is going through right now.

Bryant signed with the Bucks in May, and as a late-season addition his minutes have been minimal in the postseason, particularly in the finals. Bryant subbed in during the final minute of Game 3, his only game action during the series.
Still, he’s the first former BYU player since Danny Ainge to reach an NBA Finals series. Ainge made the finals with the Phoenix Suns in 1993. If the Bucks win the series, it would mean two former Utah college stars — Bryant and former Utah State and Bountiful High standout Sam Merrill — are a part of this year’s NBA championship team.
Milwaukee leads the series 3-2 and is one win away from beating the Suns in this year’s NBA Finals. Game 6 is Tuesday night at 7 p.m. MDT, with the game televised on ABC.
