Not only is Farmington’s Collin Chandler the top college basketball prospect in Utah for the class of 2022, but according to 247 Sports’ rankings, he’s the 71st-best prospect in the entire country.

On Tuesday, Chandler unveiled the six schools he is still considering, and there’s a fair chance he will stay home for school, as the Utah Utes and BYU Cougars both made the list.

The other four schools on Chandler’s list are Oregon, Gonzaga, Arizona and Stanford.

According to Deseret News statistics, the 6-foot-4, 170-pound Chandler averaged 22.4 points per game last season for Farmington as it made the 5A state championship game before falling to Lehi.

One other player, big man Jaxon Kohler, hails from Utah and is in 247 Sports’ Top 100 for 2022, although he has transferred to a school in California for his senior season.
