Marvel Studios and Sony released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming Marvel film “Spider-Man: No Way Home” on Monday.

The trailer, which you can watch below, shows Peter Parker (Tom Holland) dealing with the aftermath of “Spider-Man: Far From Home,” when his identity was outed to the public and he was accused of murdering the villain Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal).

In the new teaser, Parker consults with Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), asking him to reset the timeline so that no one found out about Parker’s identity. Doctor Strange agrees to do so and, well, things go pretty wrong from there.

Easter eggs in the new ‘Spider-Man’ trailer

  • In one shot of the trailer, we see a green grenade item roll on the ground. This is likely a Pumpkin Bomb from the Green Goblin, as seen in Marvel Comics.
  • Later, see Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina) show up. Molina previously played Doctor Octopus in the “Spider-Man 2” film starring Tobey Maguire.
  • Doctor Strange’s home is covered in snow for some reason. And there’s a shot of Doctor Strange wearing a light blue hoodie. Again, none of this makes sense.
