Much has been made about how the BYU Cougars will be experiencing life without Zach Wilson during the 2021 season after he was taken second overall by the New York Jets in the NFL draft last spring.

Well, the Cougars are not totally without their former star quarterback this weekend as they open 2021 against the Arizona Wildcats in Las Vegas.

Multiple Twitter users in BYU apparel posted photos with Wilson on Saturday and indicated they were at a restaurant in Sin City.

Saturday’s game comes at a good time for Wilson to be able to make it. The Jets concluded their preseason on Aug. 27 at home against the Philadelphia Eagles but don’t open their regular season schedule until Sept. 12 on the road against the Carolina Panthers.
