Last week after the BYU Cougars pulled off a big win over the Baylor Bears, Twitter went pretty wild with reactions.
On Saturday against the Oregon Ducks, the Cougars had just about the polar opposite outcome as they did against the Bears in a 41-20 loss, but the reaction on Twitter was still strong, just for a completely different reason.
Here’s some of the reaction during and after Saturday’s contest.
i am having zero fun, sir

This reminds me of the Utah-Oregon blowout in Autzen. Except of course in that one the Utes were on the winning side.

What a pathetic performance from BYU’s defense.

But hey, BYU got 1.1 mil for this

(ducks)
(pun intended)
Reality check for the Cougs. Baylor probably didn't deserve to be a top 10 team. Oregon is really good, especially at home. BYU is decent but not a top 15 team. We still can have a great 9-3 season.

My only takeaway from this Oregon/BYU game is that it is very, very important to recruit lots of good football players, because sometimes people get hurt or tied and when one team has lots of good players, they're gonna have a big advantage

Oregon has pulled away from BYU in this one.

Methinks Georgia might be really good at football!
The gap between Georgia and literally everyone else is unquantifiable

LOVE my Cougs and I will ride or die with them. Every game, every year! But this is just flat out embarrassing. Oregon is a good team but what we are watching is not BYU football and that is extremely disappointing.

Win or Lose, always appreciate the support from you Cougar Nation. Tough one to drop, but an opportunity to bounce back. See you all at home next week! #GoCougs 🤙🏽

Does this mean Oregon just won the Pac 12 in September?
