Utah will be wearing the same uniforms it wore last time the Utes went to the LA Memorial Coliseum in 2021.
The No. 14 Utes will be decked out in the white throwback threads — white helmets with a red “interlocking UU” logo, white jerseys with red numbers and white pants — when they take on the No. 18 Trojans in Hollywood.
New this year are white facemasks instead of red facemasks.
Utah last wore this combination in losses against Florida and Oregon in 2022 and wore it on its last visit to USC, a 42-26 win that gave the Utes their first victory at USC since they joined the Pac-12.
The throwback uniforms were first introduced in 2015, in a red version, when No. 5 Utah played No. 23 Cal. The uniform set isn’t a true throwback jersey, but takes elements of previous Utah jerseys, such as the “interlocking UU” logo on the helmet from 1966, uniform numbers molded after the ones on jerseys in 1974, and shoulder stripes reminiscent, but not quite the same, as ones worn on jerseys in the 1980s.
The all-white version of the throwback uniforms were released in 2021 before the win at USC.
Utah takes on USC at 6 p.m. MDT. The game will be televised on Fox, with the radio call on ESPN 700 AM/92.1 FM.
