The Utah Jazz posted a video of the 2023 rookie dance-off on Oct. 21, so far getting 46,000 views.

Every year, the Utah Jazz allows fans to come watch an open scrimmage for free, per the Deseret News. This year, each player was introduced, coach Will Hardy promised a “gritty and hardworking” season, the team had a scrimmage and the rookies did a dance-off.

Taylor Hendricks, Keyonte George and Brice Sensabaugh are the Jazz’s three rookies for the 2023 season. One of their teammates, John Collins, later said in an interview that Hendricks won.

The regular NBA season runs from Oct. 24 to April 14, according to the NBA. On Wednesday, the Jazz will play the Sacramento Kings, and on Friday, they will play the LA Clippers.

Hendricks, winner of the 2023 rookie dance-off, played for the University of Central Florida before being drafted by the Jazz. Sports Illustrated reported that the rookie is 6-foot-9 and averaged “15.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.7 blocks” and was “just shy of one steal per game.”

George played for Baylor University and Sensabaugh played for Ohio State before being drafted. All three of the 2023 Utah Jazz rookies are 19 years old.
