The Utah Jazz beat the Memphis Grizzlies, 133-109, on Wednesday night at the Delta Center.

Here are three keys that contributed to the Jazz’s victory:

  • The basket was the size of the ocean for the Jazz on Wednesday. On 43 3-point attempts the Jazz made good on 22 (51.2%). Lauri Markkanen, Jordan Clarkson and Collin Sexton all hit at least four 3-pointers.

The efficient scoring night, from everywhere on the court, led to five players finishing with double-digits in points (Markkanen, Clarkson, Sexton, Kelly Olynyk, John Collins) and every player who got in the game scoring at least three points.

  • The Jazz built their lead early against the Grizzlies, going into halftime with a 33-point advantage, which gave the Jazz’s starters a chance to rest through most of the fourth quarter — a welcomed development on the first night of a back-to-back set.
  • After two games of not reaching double-digits in points and struggling to hit shots he normally does, Jordan Clarkson rebounded with his best game of the 2023-24 season. He finished the night with 20 points on 8-of-13 shooting, including going 4-of-6 from deep, to go with six rebounds, five assists and two steals.
