The BYU men’s basketball team pulled off what was once unthinkable Tuesday night, beating the No. 7 Kansas Jayhawks at Phog Allen Fieldhouse, considered one of the toughest places to win in all of college basketball.
As one might expect with such a victory, social media was flooded with reactions. Here are some of them.

Two things stick out in this one:
1. BYU made 13 threes compared to KU only making 3.
2. BYU FTM: 19-24 / KU FTM 19-31 pic.twitter.com/aVXUrTVHto

If the cost was losing at Oklahoma State & Kansas State…it was worth it.

BYU goes into a juggernaut of an arena (Allen Fieldhouse), and breaks the home win streak, beating #7 Kansas. Hall was incredible. This shot was the beginning of the end for the Jayhawks. pic.twitter.com/AoGeXYSwdw

My baby sons Dallin Hall and Noah Waterman were so clutch down the stretch. What an unbelievable night for Brigham Young University

Kansas unraveled in the 2nd half. Couldn't find a rhythm in their half-court sets. Couldn't close out on these BYU 3-pointers. Gotta give Mark Pope and the Cougars credit. First time in this building as a member of the Big 12. And they leave with a win. College basketball, man.
