AR glasses, also known as smart glasses, are tech companies’ newest products that are to be released within the coming years. AR glasses are meant to “project digital content directly into your field of view” instead of having to look at the same content on a phone or computer, according to Popular Mechanics.

According to CNBC, the Air Glass 3 will look like normal everyday glasses that can be paired with Oppo phones and will have touch sensors on the frame. But the Air Glass 3 does not have a current public release date or price yet, per CNET.

What makes the Air Glass 3 unique is the fact that it connects to Oppo’s own AI model called the AndesGPT and, according to Oppo, is able to perform “information searches and conducting conversations to assist users in tasks like planning travel,” per CNBC.

The Air Glass 3 will also have access to a voice assistant, according to CNET, and will also include features such as being able to view photos, make phone calls and play music. While only available in China, the Air Glass 3 is supposedly Oppo’s way of showing its tech for a “market it believes could be big in the future,” per CNBC.
