Barbara Jones Brown co-authored, with Richard E. Turley Jr., "Vengeance is Mine: The Mountain Meadows Massacre and Its Aftermath" (Oxford University Press, 2023), winner of the Utah Historical Society’s Juanita Brooks Best Book in Utah History Prize. She holds a master’s degree in American history from the University of Utah and is the director of Signature Books Publishing.
