Brain games, also known as mind games, are available to everyone nowadays. The American Psychological Association explains that “psychologists have found that cognitive training can, in fact, have payoffs for skills like memory and problem solving.”

Here are several free brain games on iPhones and Android devices that you’ll find entertaining and enriching.

Two Dots: Fun Dot & Line Games

Created by the company PlayDots, Two Dots: Fun Dot & Line Games is a puzzle game that follows the adventure of two dots. Users must connect the dot puzzles using strategy and power ups.

The app also includes other games such as hidden object games, a classic adventure style game and card games. According to the game description, the game’s minimalist art and music makes their puzzle games relaxing. This game is available for Android devices.

Brain Test: Tricky Puzzles

If you like riddles, then Brain Test: Tricky Puzzles is for you. Using only images and a one-line description, the game forces users to think outside the box to pass each level.

The first game in the series, Brain Test uses cartoon illustrations as clues and users can touch them, move them around and do anything else they need to do in order to pass the level. It gets addicting if you love riddles, and the answers aren’t what they seem. Trust me.

Brain Test is available for both Apple and Android devices.

Bind: Brain teaser puzzle game

According to the game description, as you pass each level, the grid gets bigger and harder to pass. Points are determined by how fast you finish the level. It’s only available on Apple products.
