Tyson Apostol, shown here with "Survivor" host Jeff Probst, has won the individual immunity challenge in consecutive episodes. (Photo: CBS)FOR THE SECOND WEEK in a row, Tyson Apostol won the individual immunity challenge and took one more step toward winning the million dollars on "Survivor: Tocantins."
Better yet, the Utah man's plans came to fruition when he and his partner-in-plotting, the increasingly crazy Coach, engineered the ouster of Brendan.
While he remains popular among his fellow contestants - Erinn told host Jeff Probst that Tyson is the funny one who keeps everyone laughing - his straight-to-the-camera comments continue to make him sound like, well, a jerk to the viewers at home. Partly because he's just so darn arrogant; partly because he's just so, well, mean.
While outlining his anti-Brendan plan to the camera, Tyson explained how, if Brendan doesn't go, Sierra will. And Brendan will follow at the tribal council three days later.
"I'd like to see him go first because I'd like three days of just bossing (Sierra) around and telling her to shut up," Tyson said.
And you've got to wonder if Tyson's uber-confidence - he openly bragged that he would win the immunity challenge before it began - will begin to wear on the other contestants. Or if his continued success in challenges will make him a target for elimination.
Stay tuned …
