Chiswick Auctions announced this week that a rare hardback copy of “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” just sold for more than $30,000.

The first edition and first issue copy of the book sold for £27,500 ($33,849), outselling the pre-sale estimate of $18,460 to $24,614.

The book was unique because it included the words “1 wand” twice on a list on page 53 of the book.

The rare copy included original pictorial boards and new end papers, the original end-paper book and the library ink stamp on the title page.

According to a press release, someone bought the book through an online auction.
