A new photo from “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” was released Wednesday, showing off the mysterious new character, Zorii Bliss.
Entertainment Weekly shared an exclusive photo of Bliss (Keri Russell), a new character to the “Star Wars” franchise who has a mysterious background.
Bliss has appeared in multiple photos during the hype for “Rise of Skywalker,” but she is always wearing a mask. Few details are known about the character.
But it was confirmed earlier this year that Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) knows about Zorri and the two have a complicated history, according to ComicBook.com.
Russell unveiled those few details about her character at the D23 Expo during the summer, per StarWars.com.
“It was so exciting. First of all, the main thing is my son actually thinks I’m cool now,” Russell said. “I had this amazing costume and this helmet, which I actually loved to wear and didn’t take it off for about the first two days. I wore it the whole time, but I found it incredibly, strangely empowering and exciting. I can’t wait for you guys to meet Zorii. She’s very cool and a little bit shady.”
