Disney announced Thursday a slew of major advertising partners for “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.”
Disney said it will partner with Porsche, United Airlines, Samsung Mobile, Dannon, Bose, GE Appliances, McDonald’s, and General Mills for the upcoming film.
Why it matters: These companies will release ad campaigns centered on “Rise of Skywalker” content. However, actors from the film will not appear in the ads. Instead, the ads will be themed around the film. Consider previous Target ads that included “Star wars: The Last Jedi” content without bringing in actors.
