“Spider-Man: Far From Home” star Tom Holland announced Thursday that he is taking a break from Instagram and social media to begin filming his new movie with the Russo Brothers.

“My Pooch and Me. Off now to go begin my latest venture with the @therussobrothers ✌🏼 I’m going to be taking a short break from instagram, so see you all in the not so distant future,” he captioned his photo.

Holland will film the movie “Cherry,” which will be directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, who also directed Holland in the “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Avengers: Endgame” films.

“Cherry” follows the story of an Army medic who suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder. The officer becomes a bank robber after a drug addiction puts him into debt. Holland is the only cast member listed in connection with the film on its IMDb page.

Holland made headlines Wednesday for his impact on getting Marvel and Sony to agree to make one more “Spider-Man” film together, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Holland reached out to both Disney CEO Bob Iger and Sony film chairman Tom Rothman to help strike the deal, as the Deseret News reported.
