Disney Plus will now allow you to continue watching previously viewed content with a new feature, according to Variety.

What’s going on: The feature, called “Continue Watching,” will begin rolling out to multiple customers.

  • A green bar will now appear beneath titles, showing the progress you’ve made in watching a specific title.
  • You won’t have to re-download the app. The update will automatically occur on your app.
  • The app will update from platform-to-platform as well. So if you watch an episode of a show on the TV app, it’ll show up on your smartphone, too.

Flashback: Disney Plus received heavy criticism for not including a “continue watching” function, which is one of the most important features for other streaming apps since it lets you continue watching a show from where you left off, BGR reports.

Disney confirmed to ComicBook.com that it was working on a “continue watching” feature, which other streaming services currently include.

  • “If there are bugs that affect the streaming quality for certain users or issues keeping people from actually logging in to the service, those things would have to be considered priorities. Making sure people can use the service is more crucial than implementing features,” according to ComicBook.com.
