The Hallmark Channel and Monopoly teamed up for a new version of the game, which dropped back in late October.
What it is: The game board, which is available through Hallmark.com, is centered solely around the Hallmark Channel.
For example: There’s a Christmas tree farm and holiday bakery instead of Boardwalk and Park Place.
- “Home” and “Family” cards replace the “Chance” and “Community Chest” cards, too.
- And no, you don’t buy “houses” or “hotels” for this game. You buy “cottages” and “inns,” which is so Hallmark.
References: The game includes a shoutout to Hallmark classics, including “When Calls the Heart,” which replaces the railroad spots on the board.
- “Perhaps most thrilling of all though, is the fact that you don’t have to relegate the fun to Christmastime alone. While the board’s arriving just in time for Christmas shopping time, it actually features distinct motifs from all four seasons, meaning you can use it well past December,” according to Country Living.

Release date: The game is available for preorder on Hallmark’s website and will ship on Dec. 10. It costs $39.99.
