“Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” premieres Monday night in Hollywood and the early reviews are flooding social media.

“Rise of Skywalker” is the ninth and final film in the Skywalker Saga. It will follow the story of Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyega) and Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) as they combat the First Order, which includes Kylo Ren (Adam Driver).

Most of the reviews remain spoiler-free. One click through the #RiseOfSkywalker hashtag on Twitter shows some spoiler content, though. We don’t advise going through those waters alone.

STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER is certainly the most convoluted Star Wars. There is a lot I liked, but the first half gets so bogged down with exposition and new plot and doodads and beacons and transmitters, it feels like it should have been three movies on its own.
