Disney Plus is getting about 1 million new subscribers per day, according to new data.

Research firm Apptopia revealed the streaming service’s mobile app has been downloaded 15.5 million times total, the New York Post reports. People are using the app to subscribe to the full service rather than just the free trial option.

The app earned $5 million through in-app purchases within the first 13 days, according to the data.

“This shows the company is gonna be a legit competitor to the likes of Netflix, despite the skeptics that continue to doubt the House of Mouse,” Wedbush analyst Dan Ives told the New York Post. “The pricing, the content and the bundling was just a pure genius strategy from (Disney CEO Bob) Iger and Disney,” Ives said.

The millions of subscribers include all the Verizon customers, who were given a free year of Disney Plus, too, according to Fox News.

“Just look at the box office numbers for the Marvel movies and the new Star Wars movies,” Adam Blacker of Apptopia told Fox News. “The amazing price point, which will absolutely be increased at some point, combined with the ability for many people to get the service free through a deal with Verizon is a recipe for mass adoption.”

On launch day, Disney Plus saw 3.2 million app downloads for iOS and Android, as the Deseret News reported. That data came from Apptopia, too.
