ORLANDO, Fla. — Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has a new ride called Rise of the Resistance, and it has plenty of characters from the upcoming film “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.”
Travelers on the new ride will take on the role of Resistance recruits, who are asked to keep the name of the hidden Resistance base secret from the First Order. Plans go awry when the First Order captures the recruits and brings them on a star destroyer. Cue the madness as you ride through the ship.
Without spoiling the story too much, the ride includes a number of characters from the upcoming “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” film and the entire sequel trilogy. Here’s a quick list of all the characters you can expect to see:
- BB-8
- Rey
- Poe Dameron
- Finn
- Kylo Ren
- General Hux
- Nien Nunb
How they appear: The characters show up as animatronic models and on video screens. Oscar Isaac, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega and Domhnall Gleeson all reprise their roles as Poe, Rey, Finn and General Hux, respectively. Adam Driver does the voice of Kylo Ren, too.
