SALT LAKE CITY — Twitter spent the early morning on Monday debating whether “Friends” or “Seinfeld” was the better show.

The debate began after shared a video that asked whether “Friends” or “Seinfeld” was the better show, specifically asking Twitter to settle the debate.

Watch the video below.

From there, Twitter went off debating which of the two ‘90s sitcom is better than the other.

The “Friends” camp was pretty strong:

But the “Seinfeld” cast may have won the day since “Seinfeld” was one of the top trending terms for hours on Twitter.

But does the debate really matter? Emily Jashinsky of The Federalist wrote in reaction to the Twitter debate that the debate isn’t even worth having since both shows succeed in their own right.

“Seinfeld,” she wrote, has more wit and sharp writing. Meanwhile, “Friends” has an emotional side that “Seinfeld” lacks.

“If you want to do either, you won’t find much better options than either of those shows. They’re both great in their respective lanes,” she wrote.

“Comparing the two shows is like comparing desktop computers to laptops. These comedies serve different purposes, and both fulfill those purposes well. If you must measure them against each other, at least admit it’s really a proxy war over taste — a pursuit that’s often foolish and almost always fruitless.”

Plus, there’s another show we’re forgetting about. It’s called “Frasier.”
