SALT LAKE CITY — You know nothing about the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Jon Snow. But you soon will.
Kit Harington will reportedly join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, according to Deadline. Harington is fresh off the HBO series “Game of Thrones,” where he starred as the hero, Jon Snow.
In the show’s final episode, Snow walked off into the forest, seemingly alive.
Harington will join the MCU to make a film, which means he likely won’t be in one of the Disney Plus TV series, according to Deadline.
It’s unclear which character he will play, or which film franchise he’ll join.
“That said, Disney’s D23 expo runs throughout the weekend and is usually chock-full of news about Disney’s marquee properties like Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar. It’s the perfect time for Disney to make a big announcement,” according to Digital Trends.
Harington isn’t the only “Game of Thrones” alum to join the Disney franchises. Last year, Emilia Clarke, who starred in “Game of Thrones,” appeared on “Solo: A Star Wars Story.” And “Game of Thrones” showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss will make a new “Star Wars” movie, too.
