SALT LAKE CITY — “Avengers: Endgame” and “Black Widow” star Scarlett Johansson has been named the highest-paid actress of 2019.
According to Forbes, Johansson topped the list for the second year in a row by earning $56 million. Of that sum, about $35 million came from “Endgame.” Others on the list include newcomers Elisabeth Moss (“The Handmaid’s Tale”) and Margot Robbie (“Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”) along with mainstays Sofia Vergara and Reese Witherspoon.
CNBC also notes the 10 actresses on the list have made about $315 million, which is less than the top 10 highest-paid actors, who have earned just under $600 million. Speaking of those highest-paid actors, Forbes notes Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson made $89.4 million in the last year, making him the highest-paid actor of 2019.
If you take a look at “Avengers: Endgame,” you’ll see Johansson is also the fourth-highest paid member of the cast — right below Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr. and Bradley Cooper. However, Johansson made more than both Chris Evans and Paul Rudd.
