SALT LAKE CITY — “Shark Tank” judge Kevin O’Leary was reportedly involved in a major boating crash that left one person dead on Lake Joseph in Ontario, Canada, according to Business Insider.

The crash left one man dead and one woman seriously injured.

According to reports, O’Leary’s boat crashed into a larger boat on Saturday night somewhere around 11:30 p.m. local time. A male passenger on the larger boat died, while a woman on the boat suffered an injury.

O’Leary confirmed the incident in an interview with TMZ.

“Late Saturday night I was a passenger in a boat that had a tragic collision with another craft that had no navigation lights on and then fled the scene of the accident,” O’Leary told TMZ. “I am fully cooperating with authorities.”

“Out of respect for the families who have lost loved ones and to fully support the ongoing investigation, I feel it is inappropriate to make further comments at this time,” he continued. “My thoughts are with all the families affected.”

A representative told TMZ that O’Leary’s wife was driving the boat when it crashed.

Police officials are still investigating the crash. Per Fox News, police gave O’Leary’s wife, Linda, a DUI test, which she passed.

A third person on O’Leary’s boat was injured and was taken to a hospital to receive stitches and medical aid.

No criminals charges have been announced in the case.
