Lori Loughlin’s daughters, Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose Giannulli, are back on social media, and it may be for a reason.
Last month, Olivia Jade Giannulli said she wasn’t happy with the media through an Instagram post, according to the Deseret News. The post was significant since she had previous dropped off social media in the wake of the college admissions scandal.
Olivia Jade — a social media influencer in her own right — lost a slew of partnerships after her mother, Lori Loughlin, and father, Mossimo Giannuli, were accused in the college admissions scandal for paying $500,000 in bribes so Olivia Jade and Isabella Giannulli could be crew team recruits for the University of Southern California.
But there may be a reason. According to The Daily Beast, Loughlin’s daughters might be trying to move on from the scandal.
“With the recent flurry of social media activity, it seems as though the Insta-famous sisters have decided that they are ready for us to forgive and forget,” according to The Daily Beast.
“The Instagram comeback feels particularly calculated mainly because of how long the social media-savvy sisters abstained from the virtual world of likes, filters, and trolls. The girls Instagrammed for the first time since the drama erupted on the same day, their mother’s late-July birthday, as if to simultaneously announce that they are back online to stay and that they aren’t holding a grudge against Loughlin, contrary to some reports.”
And, to make matters even more interesting, Olivia Jade’s recent post have fewer comments than thought — only 150 compared to previous posts that had upward of 2,347, according to The Daily Beast.
So, “because of these tools, we have no way of knowing for sure whether or not the public is truly ready to welcome Olivia Jade and her severely contoured cheekbones back to Instagram,” according to The Daily Beast.
